About Us

The Child Bilingualism Lab is a research lab group in the School of Arts, Culture and Language at Bangor University. In this lab, postgraduate research students, led by , conduct research into various areas of childhood bilingualism, including:

  • Acquisition and maintenance of languages
  • Cognitive effects of bilingualism
  • Bilingualism in individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions
  • Experiences and considerations of childhood bilingualism by parents, education professionals, speech and language therapists (and others)
