Bangor University Postgraduate Summer Mobility Awards 2025
As part of their long running programme of support to Higher Education, Santander Universities are offering Bangor University postgraduate students the opportunity to win one of 5x mobility awards (4x £1000 and 1x £1,350) to support their studies / research and employability.
Background
This opportunity is open to postgraduate students (Masters, PG taught or research, PhD) currently enrolled at Bangor University. You do not need to be Santander customers to apply.
You must give details of how you propose to spend the mobility award and how this will enhance your studies / research and employability.
All funded activity must be completed before the start of the next academic year.
The funding is given as cash and can be spent on anything that supports the winner’s mobility, including travel expenses, conference costs, professional development activities, work experience and any other relevant costs.
The 5x grants will be allocated on a random basis by Bangor University (subject to meeting a minimum quality threshold).
In addition to 4x £1000 awards and at the discretion of Bangor University, 1x mobility award of £1350 will be available to the best application.
Applications are open now until 18th July 2025 with successful applicants informed by the 25th July 2025.
To apply, applicants must visit the Santander Open Academy platform, where you will need to register an account. After registering, you will get a confirmation email. You can then complete a short application form and apply for the grant.
